    Excel background & format

    Hi Team,

Usually Excel background is white in color.
Could someone help me to customize it i.e. how can I change the background with any jpeg file on my desktop.

How do I format an excel sheet such that only part of the sheet should have grid and rest be without grid i.e. appear like white space.

    Thanks in advance.

For the second part - Select the area you want white ie without the grid, choose format cells, Borders, and change the colour from automatic to white and then click on Inside and ok.

For the background image you can read this: http://www.addictivetips.com/microso...in-excel-2010/

For the grid lines you can turn off grid lines for the entire sheet and then format cell borders for the area where you want 'grid lines'.
