Draw a new line close to another existing shape, the end of line snaps to the connector of existing shape. Is it possible to shut off "Snap to Connector" for graphic? See example in attached file.

click the rectangle
go to "Format menu" there's the option "align" in the "arrange ribbon icons"
click align below click the "snap to shape" also look at snap to grid.
