Excel 2007 : Match and colour the amounts between DR and CR

Hello all,

I have a doubt in Excell 2007.

We have 4 columns in a sheet.
col 1 some num
col 2 some text
col 3 few nums similar to col1 but in different fields
col 4 some numbers
col 5 should give like values of col 1 and 2, matched with col 3 and 4, in col 5.
ie 1 is say Invoice number
3 is also Invoice number
2 is DR
4 is CR
but DR and CR like lines r lying in diff rows
I need to identify like rows of DR amount and CR amount, and put together in next and next rows and find which DR rows r not having corresponding CR rows.

Please help me to resolve my issue.

Please check the file, The issue is, I have to compare A1 and B1 = C1 and D1.

I have to show the unmatched thing in E1.

Yes your output is correct but I couldn't see any formula there.

In my new case Invoice# a and DR amt 12 is available in C and D filed.

I have to check whole C & D (but Invoice#(D) and CR should equal to Invoice#(A) and DR).

Please check the attached xls.

Invoice# a is showing correct but remaining Out put is showing incorrect, Because Invoice # a, e and d is having related CR entries in C and D column.

Please can you check and give me the solution.

Is it possible to write formula for this issue, like Lookup or Vlookup....

If yes please give that as well.
