Date Lookup from form calendar not working

Hi all, I have a lookup working simply from a date chosen from a drop down list to return a value from a lookup list. However, if I replace the drop down list with a calendar - Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 - (and link that to the same cell as I had the drop down list), it doesn't work. Anybody know why and have a suggestion to fix it? I've recreated a simple example of both methods in the attached sheet.

I Hi! I did not receive a response from anyone so I wonder if I'm in the right part of the site to ask this question? Is this better covered in the Programming forum? I hope not as my knowledge of VBA is about as limited as you can get!
