How to make compliance 4-5 checks in single cell and display accordingly.

Hello friends, let me explain the situation -

If Cell A4= "Cricket", then cell A5= "Welcome to Cricket Match"
If Cell A4 = "Foortball", then cell A5 = "Welcome to Football match"
If Cell A4 = "Tenis", Then cell A5 = "Welcome to Tenis Match"
If cell A4 = " Hockey", then cell A5 = "Welcome to Hockey Match"
and so on and on.

That is in a single cell, output is required to be displayed according to condition it satisfies.

With "If " function only, I am just able to check two conditions. but I wana to check 5-8 conditions for a single cell.

I hope query has been sufficiently explained, if you know the way out kindly help.

Hi, Thanks for guiding . However , my requirement are different. In my case, human intervention is not required. Its the formula or VBA to determine What to display based on condition satisfied.

If you could advice taht way too, it would be my pleasure.
Am also expecting some VBA coder to resolve this issue. I want to jump line among VBA code line. In basic or that language , every command has some line number , but here we dont have. That wat i wat to know how to jump line.

Or if some could simply help by giving already Excel defined function, that we do tooo.

Human intervention can be a wonderful or terrible thing and everything in between. As far as I know, it's not possible to use excel without it. Sorry I can't help.
