    Numeric String

    I would like to just get the numeric numbers of these strings, for example:

    bach_213088
    mom_220
    thayers_9965

    Assuming all values will be separated with an underscore, try the following:

    Hi

    With your strings, start in A2, then in B2 and copy down, use this formula.

    =LOOKUP(9^9,1*RIGHT(TRIM(A2),COLUMN($2:$2)))
