If the date is in A1 and the serial is in B1 then in C1:
=TEXT(DAY(A1),"0#")&TEXT(MONTH(A1),"0#")&YEAR(A1)&" "&RIGHT(B1,3)
If the date is in A1 and the serial is in B1 then in C1:
