Formatting Numbers into millions using custom function

    Hello,

I am having some cell formatting issues. I had orignally formatted my cells to return numbers back in terms of million, but when I get something smaller than 1 million, the cell returns with "."

For example "500,000" returns with "." when I want it to return with 0.5
    And when I have 4,000,000 I get "4."

The thing is it's only happening to the tenth decimial position
    Here's an example:

Here's what I typed in on the Number formatting

What's going on and how do I get those zeros to start?

    Thanks,
    dx

If you want 4 million to show as 4.0 then change your custom format to #,##0.0,,

Or to show 4 million as 4 first change your custom format to #,###,,

Then apply a conditional format using =MOD(E1,1000000) as the rule formula, and set it to apply a format of #,##0.0,,
