Colour Formatting and %

Hi all,

I hope you can help me.

I need to set a colour formatting in Excel 2010 based on the following:

I have a target, for instance 80%. If the actual result is between +- 10% is green, otherwise is red.

In this example the range will be 80+-8 that means if the actual result falls between 72 and 88 is green, otherwise is red.

If the target would be 55% the green range would be between 49.5 and 60.5 (55+-5.5).
I hope it is clear

i have had a go of it this way if you want to have a look.


i used the code =AND($D$1>A14/B14,$C$1<A14/B14) in the conditional formatting and just made c1 and d1 my upper and lower percentages.

It works but I would like to get not only the green when it is "true" but also the red one when it is "false". Sorry I was not clear.
I tried to play with the conditional formatting but with no success.
Can you help?
