Conditional Formatting For Date Value (adjacent cells to be formatted too)

    Hello!

I have a list of start and end dates, and I want to shade all data in that row which contain similar start/end dates.

Have attached my excel, column A to D contain the raw data. Column G-J is how I want the data to look like without having to do it manually.

    Is it possible?

    Thank you!

    Use this formula:
    =$C2-$B2<5
Then modify this VBA to fill it down:

=$C2-$B2<5 will return FALSE or TRUE depending on the value of B2, not on the difference between B2 and C2

    You should use parenthesis
    =($C2-$B2)<5
