Excel 2007 : Shared workbook opens and then automatically moves to a different sheet

I have a shared workbook with 12 worksheets (1 for each month). Everytime the workbook is opened it defaults to the Aug sheet rather than the one that was last worked on. I believe this sheet must have been inadvertently set as the default or preferred sheet by another user. I can't find a menu option for this.
