One criteria between two dates on multiple sheet.

The following formula works on your example sheet but I'm not sure about 'multiple sheets' as I've no idea about the layout. However, perhaps you can work with it.

=SUMPRODUCT((ISNUMBER(SEARCH("+",Account!$A$2:$A$7)))*(Account!$B$2:$B$7>DATE(2012,4,1))*(Account!$B$2:$B$7<=DATE(2012,6,30)))
