how to select range for formula

My workbook has two sheets, one has data and the other looks at that data to do some calculations about the correlations between columns. The columns headings are the same on both sheets, but the column headings are duplicated as row headings as well on the second sheet. The formula in a given cell the second sheet looks at that cell's row heading, finds the matching column in the first spreadsheet, and selects the rows with data meeting certain criteria. Once those rows are selected, it adds up the data in the column matching the given cell's column (not the column with the data used for the row selection). This works fine with the SUMIF function I'm using. However, I would like to be a little more rigorous in the analysis and use the TTEST function to see whether or not the the data in the selected rows is significantly different from the column as a whole. So, array1 of TTEST will be the values in the selected rows (chosen by the data in a different column) and array 2 will be the whole column.

I have uploaded an example of my workbook. Please forgive the size. I cut it down drastically (from about 2600 rows by 450 columns in the data sheet), but I wanted to leave enough data that there would be some real results.

If you look at the SUMIF function in the cells of Sheet2, you can see that it chooses the range based on data in the column whose heading matches the row heading, but actually sums the data in the column whose heading matches the column heading. What I need is a way to select the data for array1 of TTEST the same way.
