    How to flag dates that are within 9 days of today

    I'm working on a spreadsheet to keep track of my bills. Column I contains the date the next payment is due. Today's date is in Cell W1 how can I make it highlight Cells in yellow any row where the due date is within 9 days of today. I want to go from Creditor name all the way to the Due Date Field. The attached file has dummy figures

    Hi MannyLNJ,

    Would suggest you to upload a excel workbook as creating data basis an image file is time consuming..thanks.
    = if(<date> - today() <=9, "Yes","no")

    To give a try on your own, you can use above formula to flag "Yes" for the dates which are with in 9 days and also you need to change <date> in above formula to reference the correct date..

    Ok here is the spreadsheet with dummy data

    In this example Row 19 from cell A19 to I19 should be the only one with the cell colors reversed so I can tell that a payment needs to be made.

    Thanks. Can you explain to me how you did it so I can do other highlights? I just thought of highlighting any account where I am over 50% utilization and I will be adding a last used field where I will want to flag any card I haven't used in 60 days

    You are welcome MannyLNJ,

    Press Alt + O + D and you'll get conditional formatting window, there select the respective item and click on Edit to see the logic used.. you just need to play with numbers there.. in case of any issues, let me know.. thanks.

    I have a new problem. When I use the sort macro provided in this thread it's flagging most of the accounts as due within 9 days. can you please look and tell me where I goofed.
