creating a formula to change font colour/email when condition changes

    Hi
I hope someone can help me. At work there is an excel sheet showing staff driving licence expiry dates. I would like to create a formula to change the dates expiring within one month of the current date to red font.
I would also like Excel to email those staff to notify them that their licences are about to expire - is this asking too much? we are working with Excel 2007.
    thank you
    Sue

To change expiring within 1 month to red, create a helper column next to the expiry dates. Then use conditional formatting.
