Pivot Table Question - Finding Percentages of Counts

    Hello,

After using Excel for years (still quite a novice), I have just discovered Pivot Tables. I love them!

Here's my fun scenario. I have 5 game show participants, and I will throw varying amounts of dollar bills at them throughout the day. Some will not be able to play for the entire day, and some will be motivated to play if there's lot of $$$ to be had. I have made a Pivot and I can see how much money was in play for that hour. I can't seem to figure out how I can determine based on the total number of times I thew money out, the % of times each player caught the money. So basically I want % distribution of total attempts during a specific hour. If at 4 AM, I threw money out 5 times, "Frank" won twice, "Greg" once, "Moe" once, and "Tom" once, I would want to see a 40%, 20%, 20%, 20%, and 20% in my Count column. I've tried a few different options in the Pivot Table but hasn't yielded results I'm looking for.

I attached a quick sample sheet.

you might need a stats add in calculating Pareto.

I've never heard of Pareto before. Just did a quick search on it, and it looks interesting enough. Any other ideas?

Is Pareto the only solution? I saw a few links to download software but I wasn't 100% sure if they were trustworthy. If it is my only solution, can someone recommend a safe site to dl it from?

In 2010, right click the Sum of Count, choose Show Values As, and select % of Parent row. This will not work in 2007 or earlier though.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I'll be playing around with Pivot Tables tonight for a few hours. Will try this. Thank you.
