Link cell to specific spot in Word

Trying to figure this out and Google has been no help lol

I'm trying to link a cell in Excel to a Word doc. So that when you click on the cell, it opens the Word doc straight to the exact spot.

example: the Word doc is the Procedures, with pages and pages of ID numbers and the procedures of how to complete. I want my Excel to have a list of just the ID numbers, and when you click on one of em, it opens the word doc straight to the description of what the procedures are for that ID.

    Make sense? lol

Having a hard time. Got to the point of setting up a Hyperlink, but the instructions i was following online, came to a dead stop when it suggested to do somethign i was never given the option to do...

    I have version 2007

Please help (if it is even possible)

(I know CTRL+F does the exact same thing, but I wanna look cool here :P)

    No?

I therefore assume it is not possible?
