    Thanks.

    Hi

    Do you mean?

    =INDEX(T1:T28,MATCH(K15;M14:S14,0))

Re: MATCH and LOOKUP formula help

Fotis, you're mixing commas and semi-colons... which result in error message to the OP....

Re: MATCH and LOOKUP formula help

I've adapted your formula to this but could not get it to work (and sorry I originally made a mistake asking to look in K15 when meant K16).

    =INDEX(T14:T28,MATCH(M14:T28:K16,0))

It needs to match the value in K16 with a value that will be in M14:M28. If it finds a match, lets say in M14 it should return the value in T14

Re: MATCH and LOOKUP formula help

ooops I did't noticed this....You know the problem....Semi-colons for me, comma for you...

    =INDEX(T1:T28,MATCH(K15,M14:S14,0))

    Edit:

    =INDEX(T14:T28,MATCH(K16,M14:M28,0)) ???

Re: MATCH and LOOKUP formula help

Thanks Fotis, I realised I can do it with a SUMIF instead anyway.

    =SUMIF(M14:M28,K16,T14:T28)

    Thanks for your help.
