I have grouped 10 columns together, so that I can expand it and collapse it easily when required. However I need few columns in that grouping to be completely hidden. As in they must never appear unless I unhide it manually.

Currently if I hide cells within a group they get hidden. But once I collapse and then expand the grouping again the cells become unhidden automatically. Can this be avoided?

Btw I use MS Excel 2007.
