Pivot Table Help

I have a pivot table set up based on data in sheet one.. Col A contains a bunch of dates, and Col K contains a numeric value.. I am wanting to use a Pivot table to easily view the # of times the numeric value shows up for each date. For Example.. 4/30 is listed multiple times with different numeric values on the dates.. I want to set the table up to show me on 4-30, 2 came up 1 time, 3 came up 4 times, 4 came up o. etc.. I can only get it to show me each numeric value that appeared on a given date, i.e. on 4-30 2, 4, 5 occurred.. but I also want to know how many times I am using Office 2010

try putting col k as a column and as data, and in the data area, and set for Count rather than sum

I tried that, but can't seem to get Col K to show in more than one section.. I hve the Pivot Table Field List open.. and I have 4 sections.. Report Filter, Column Lables, Row Lables, and Values.. I can't move K to more than one of these sections..
