Change from formula to actual numerical value

I'm using some formulas to get people's ages. Once I get these ages, how can I make it so that I can use the actual NUMBER as opposed to the formula?

For example, my age cell currently reads "=YEAR(B1)-YEAR(A1)+((MONTH(B1)-MONTH(A1))/12)". But when I work with the numbers, I want to be able to use the number "42" as opposed to the whole formula. Right now I'm re-typing all the values in a new column to get a cell with JUST a number and no formulas.

    Thanks in advance.

you could always copy > paste special > values (Ctrl + Alt + V) the entire column on top of itself to convert the formulas into their respective numeric values

I assume you want to keep the formulas to keep the results current. Can you just copy the column with the formulas in and "paste values" in the new column.
