    Preventing Slicer Scrollbars

Is there a way to disable excel 2010 slicer scrollbars from being displayed either through VBA or excel settings? Also looking to permanently activate a slicer button, which is linked to a blank text box "".

    Hi ahunter488,

I know the Slicer tool was new in 2010 but have no idea what you mean by the "slicer scrollbar".

See this video for the slicer tool I'm thinking of. http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Use...xcel-152121047

Maybe a sample file would help us understand what you mean.

I am attempting to leave the slicers open and lock them into a specific size and position on the screen if you resize them to a small size and there is more data than what fits in the slicer window, a vertical scrollbar is displayed.

I don't know of a way to limit the size of the slicer tool. I believe it must show the scroll if there are more than can fit.

Okay, it was just a thought. Maybe someday. Thank you for replying.
