Excel 2007 : Help with Conditional formatting or VBA to hide rows based on specific criteria

I am trying to hide rows specific rows based on the selection made from a drop-down in cell D8. For example, if "Spot" is chosen in cell D8, rows 25, 26 and 27 should be hidden. (The current conditional formatting in cells D23:D27 can be removed if necessary.)
