know the address of the two cell, how to create the array between them

Hi, I am a newbie here and i am looking for a simple function to do below

a list a data is in column A1:A999.
using min() to find the min value. for example A20
how to define a array from A20:A999, as I want to use Match() to search for another value.
of cos the address of the min value is not always A20.
is it something related to dynamic Array?

one cell store one address A20
another cell store one address A999

how can Match() to look up array for A20:A999. thanks.
