What about the other copy and paste functions, eg right click context menu, or from the toolbar?
Ivan F Moala gives a solution here that will work just fine with Excel 2003.

The girls that use the sheets are on touch screens and have been trained to use keyboard short cuts only so CTRL C/V will get %90 of them. Thanks for the link it looks good I will give it a go when I get to work tonight

good morning all
i have run in to a small issue the link from dominicbworks to well it seams to have disabled copy and paste for all of excel not just the 2 workbooks.Ivan F Moala gives a solution here that will work
If i restart my computer I have copy and paste but after I use this workbook I loose it even after closing the book
if i am corect i will need to add a line of code to enable copy and past on exit but are not 100% on how to do so both codes used are bolow
