As noted in the link, amps measures current and watts are a measure of power. Because they are two different physical quantities, you don't "convert" from one unit to the other.
The usual relationship between power and current is expressed by the famous P=EI, which seems to be called Joule's law or Watt's law depending on the source. This, along with Ohm's law (E=IR), are among the most fundamental of equations in electrical circuit analysis.
