    Copy and Pasting data

I would like to copy and paste data that currently has blanks between it. I would like to copy the data above the blank cell for multiple cells. Can anyone help me with that?

Example: (everything in column B is related to the data label in column A.

    A1 - test 1 B1 - 100%
    A2 - blank B2 - 50%
    A3 - test 2 B3 - 101%
    A4 - blank B4 - 95%
    A5 - blank B5 - 89%

I don't really understand what you want, but there are two things I think you might be asking.

    1) you want to copy a range, say A1:B5
This is straight-forward. Highlight the range, CTRL+C (or left-click copy etc), then move the cursor to the cell that will be the upper left corner of the pasted range, and hit CTRL + P (left-click paste etc). Be careful copying over stuff.

    2) you want to fill in blank cells with values above them
Select the cell and pull down from the square on the bottom right corner of the cell. You'll know when your cursor changes from "move" to "copy" because it will go from a white cross with a border to being a solid black cross.

Or is there something else you wanted to do???

Thank you for your quick reply. It is difficult to put into words what I am trying to do. I want to take a range (A1:A50) and for every blank that is in the range, I want to copy the data above each blank. Does that make more sense?
