I need to know the way to substitute multiple times. Right now I'm running the equation, "=SUBSTITUTE(Sheet1!A$1,"blue",Sheet1!B1)". I need to substitute 3 charters from Sheet1a1 instead of just "blue".

Which three characters? Is it always characters 4, 5 and 6, for example? Please post a sample with contents of cell A1, before and after, and B1. If there are any variations, then tell us now rather than later.
A sample workbook is often useful.
