Adding a Cell Inside a Chart

I am building a chart...

I have 5 amounts that need to be displayed.

The first four are single cell amounts, but the 5th would be the sum of two cells. After multiple attempts, I cannot seem to get excel to let me sum two amounts inside a chart without adding another field in excel with the sum amount. I would rather not do this. Is there a way around it...Thank you in advance for any help.

Charts do not add values together. You will need to use additional cells to summarise the values you actual want in the chart
