building multiple charts in one file

I'm very ignorant when it comes to getting excel to do more than add and change cell colors. I have multiple aircraft that all require weight and balance charts. Each aircraft has 5 potential equipment configurations and i want to have a separate chart for each configuration. I already have a workbook built containing 7 sheets. Sheet 1 will be the main page and all the rest of the sheets will be for weight and balance configs based on hardware installed. i would like to be able to fill in the column on the main page (22 cells for each entry) and have a column at the end of each column with a drop down to select which configuration the aircraft is in at that moment and have the drop downs titled the same as each sheet. Once selected i would like the column to auto populate based on selection. Also is it possible for it to autofill the next column down each time a weight and balance is plugged in on the main page??? if necessary i can post what I'm trying to work with if it will help.

please post a workbook and mock up what you would like to see as the desired result (i.e. enter manually)

I assume that with "chart" you are not referring to an Excel chart like a column or bar chart?

i want to be able to just have to fill in the column on the main page and by selecting the configuration, it will auto populate the corresponding chart with that same info

oh and it has to fill in the next line every time also if thats possible so that the previous entry stays for record keeping

i found that building macros would be the best solution to get this database where i want it, though macros are not an option as this will be on company computers. i decided to add a pulldown list on the main page which has titles that correlate to the other sheets. if the pulldown selected correlates to whichever page that page will display that row. i hid the blank lines on the sheets so that only rows with annotations show.

i know that this is a very basic way of getting what i wanted out of the sheets....is there a better way to skin this cat???
