    Conditional Formatting in Excel 2010

    Hi Guys,

I am a bit savy with Excel 2007 but totally lost in Excel 2010. I am totally lost with the various options provided for the conditional formatting in Excel 2010. 2007 was stright to the point. I have contract details stored in one of my files. I want them to be highlighted red when <30days, yellow when <60days and green when <90days from the expiry dates.

In addition to this, how will I be possible to alert my colleagues of these dates. Can there be a prompt to send out a mail?

    Pls advise.

    Thanks

Re: Conditional Formatting in Excel 2010

    Hi dilipandey,

Attached is a sample. Let's say all expiry is this year. If less than 30 days= red; less than 60 days=yellow and less than 90 days=green.

Also can an email action be prompted when expiry date is near?

    Thanks.
