Please help, I'm putting in due dates into excel and I'd like the cells to change colours when the cells get within two days and also when it's overdue. Also, is it possible that when the adjoining cell has been filled in (as in task completed) is it possible to over rule the formatting on date cells so they appear green?

I should mention that I'm a relative newbie so basic language would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Re: Alerts

Hey cheers for that, once I'm in "conditional formatting", "new rule" what settings do I need to set prior to entering the above settings?
ie: selcting a rule type and editing rule description?

    Thanks!
