Help with my fantasy result prediction spreadsheet. it cant work out 0-0 scorelines!

    Hi all,

after days of setting my spreadsheet, i thought i cracked it. Then when i put the score 0-0 into the selected field it doesnt say anything (presumably the fact that 0 is treated as a blank field, which is my default setting).

Any way i have 39 pages (38 for each match week, and 1 for the totals and table (which i have yet to do!)

B and C are predicted and D and E are actual. F is the right formula (unless it can be improved!) but i think the problem lies with the G Field. Then the formula is copied 9 times (as there is 10 games per match week)

I had to take away some of the pages as the file is too large, but i think you will get the idea as all the game weeks are the same

Any way have a look and please help me!

Also any help with the ranking table would be nice (i probably thinking a vlook up and a RANK)

Many thanks for taking the time to look

    Gareth

So, what is SUPPOSED to happen when the score it 0-0 and someone guessed.... 1-2, or 3-2, or 2-2?

Brilliant thanks for your help! you even shortened my formulae many thanks.
Can you have a look at the sheet named table for me. What I want the spreadsheet to do, is rank the players in order of points. Cells A and B is the table (the running total, so i dont think they will need a new table). You see I have 103 people joiningg the results predictor this year, so it needs to be masive!

Any help is greatly appriaciated (and many, many, many thanks to JBeaucaire, for the help!)

Re: Help with my fantasy result prediction spreadsheet. it cant work out 0-0 scorelines!

Hi Guys, Its me again. Just wondering if you can help me again, with this football prediction spreadsheet.
Thanks for your kind help in advanced.
I've just realised that this year, we have a prize for the most points scored in a game week. Does anyone have any ideas, how i can go about this, with out individually writing an equation per person. I have 100+ participants this year and will be a long day of imputting them in.

My only idea is for each week find out the largest score, and if it is larger than the previous that will be the new formula to be tested against. But there must be an easier way. Any one out there help.

    Many thanks

    Once again many thanks
