Excel 2007 : Drop box A = sum of E

Hey guys looks like a great site with lots of helpful people... I need some of that help now. I will try to explain what Im looking for the clearest I can

Looking to have B14 match costing from E305 IF A305 is selected in drop box of A14

Does this make sense?

A14:A25 ALL are drop boxes of compressed of A305:A310
B14:25 will be pricing pulled from E305:E310.. SO "A" box needs to pull pricing from E305 ect

Welcome to the forum!

It sounds to me like you just need a VLookup() formula. Attached is an example workbook based on the criteria described to show you how it works.

In cell B14 and copied down is this formula:

=IF(A14="","",VLOOKUP(A14,$A$305:$E$310,5,FALSE))
