Chart Context Menu Help

Hello All,

I have been moved over to Excel 2010 at work and I noticed that I am missing a very important piece of the Chart Context Menu called "Show Data Sheet". We have chart libraries that it is very helpful to simply right click into the context menu and show the data sheet when we want to dig into the data...now with Excel 2010 we can't. It is hidden somewhere else? I have a hard time believing that Microsoft deleted such a feature...

Here is what I saw with 2003:

Sorry, you are right, I was lead to believe this was "standard". I just went and talked to the file Owners and they showed me the code they used to create this command. Then they tell me that it isn't possible in 2010 to edit the context menus like it was in 2003. Is this true?

Hi Again Joseph,

I showed the owner of the file and he actually said he was aware of this approach....but he said it only works with the cell context menu, not the chart context menu....any sources that show how to do this on the chart context menu for Excel 2010??

Thanks for your continued follow-up. I really appreciate it. I did as you suggested, but I don't see anything different or a pop up....
