Excel Stopped Loading Worksheet!!!!

Today is just not my day for Excel....with one problem fixed another comes along.

So I have two sheets in a workbook. One sheet has 275 lines of data put into a table. The second sheet has statistics that are pulled from the data in the first sheet.

All of a sudden it will freeze and take 2-5mins to open the document. Using the filter in the table makes it slow down for about 5+ mins. It says at the bottom something like "calculating 4 processors 0%"..My laptop also makes strange sounds when this happens. See attached for screenshot.

It is a 45.0 KB file and it is using almost 1gb of memory according to my task manager!


I tired opening the workbook on another person's computer and it did the same thing! It even made the same sounds on their laptop. Now I am stressing out since I have to present this to people during a meeting in two days!!!!


Does anyone know what to do?
