    date Range lookup

    So this has been a tough one to find a solution. looking to have a look up for a critera, but pouplate matching results in mutiple colums that match the critera for a date range.


    let me know more information i need to share to help see if we can find a solution.

    look up a data or values from different file and insert it to another file/sheet

    hi, i need help in inserting a column to my new sheet a values that will come from another file. how will i do that without affecting the formulas plotted in my new sheet in different columns? thanks.

    dilipandey , Appreciate you trying to help and giving some time on it, not able to get it to work for me. i see your note on cell Q2, but it looks like when you converted the dates it mis read the day and month. but aside from that the reason there are 5 colums to fill in is because there are 5 types of work. just would like to match the site to what work was done during a date range, the actual sheet will have over 15,000 rows to process. hope this helps somemore to explain.

    Sometimes in the end dates you have kept the year as 2011 wherein it should be 2012.. any ways, I have correct those errors and formulated the attached file. thanks.
