Conditional formatting on text in Excel

Is it possible to use conditional formatting on text in Excel? For instance make the cell color of all cells with the text of "Yes" red. Please provide a quick overview or link to help.

    Thanks.

    Hi Matt,

Of course it's possible to do so - Excel can do just about anything!

Select the cells you want to have conditional formatting, then click Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cell Rules > Equal To > type Yes > select a pre-defined format or choose Custom from the drop-down list. Should be all set!
