Copy & Pasting with filters and hidden columns

Hi Everyone,

I have a sheet that contains many hidden columns .
I wish to copy rows within the sheet after a filter has been applied to one column.

Without the filter applied, the data copies correctly, but once the filter is applied, although copying selects only the filtered rows (which is what I want), it does not also copy the hidden columns.

Does anyone know of a workaround or code to solve this issue?
I would be very grateful for a pointer in the right direction.

Hi,

If you are using Excel 2003 use the below steps for your query :

Step 1 >> Select the cells you want to copy
Step 2 >> Edit = Go to = Special = Visible Cells Only (Shortcut is Alt + E G S Y)
Step 2 >> Ctrl + C

You can see that only visible cells are copied now & hidden cells are not there.

Unfortunately, using that method only copies the correct rows, but not the correct columns.
I have many hidden columns that need to be copied even though the data is not visible, whilst also copying only rows whose data IS visible.
I am not even sure if this is possible, but it would save me a huge amount of time if there was a solution.
