    How to remove the link

My workbook "Main.xls" has links to another workbook. When I open
Main.xls I get an error window:
This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be updated.
~To change the source of links, or attempt to update values again,
    click Edit Links.
~To open the workbook as is, click Continue.
.... with Continue and Edit Links buttons in the window.

I DONT WANT TO DISPLAY THIS MESSAGE. HOW CAN I REMOVE THE LINK

Re: How to remove the link

You need to find the links that are in your sheet, and delete them

Re: How to remove the link

Your workbook has formulas that lookup data from another workbook.
If the second workbook is no longer in the expected location Excel will not be able to complete the lookups.

If you do not need the workbooks to link anymore you could paste values over the offending formulas to solve your problem.

I'm unable to offer more advice without more details about the workbook.
