How to Protect specific cells / columns/rows

Hi Guys,

I want to protect specific cells / columns/rows in sheet.

Please guide.

Then you need to protect your worksheet with a password and for any cell you want unprotected, right click on that cell, format cells, protection, unchecked locked.

For all the cells you want protected once you apply the password, those cells must be checked locked.\

Hi try dis,

first select entire sheet --right click at most top left corner ( intersection of A&1) --->format cells-->protection-->uncheck locked and Hidden--->Ok


Next step ---> Select cells/rows/column whatever you want (for multiple selection , hold ctrl key and select) -->right click -->protection-->check locked --->Ok
next step---> Protect the sheet and save
