    Need help on excel formulas

    Kindly some one help me with following problem in excel
    i have columns named date nameofsupplier qty etc it will be a consolidated sheet for a year.
    i need is to copy a data say 1/4/2012 from there to another sheet or workbook by using formulas and not filters mind it.

    I need formula to work for other dates as well and similarly second target would be once this works i need is a shorcut way that this consolidated sheet gets breaked into different sheets from 1/4/2012 to 31/3/2012 automatically with dat formula being placed in one sheet.
