I have 2 large spreadsheets which were created in Excel 2003. One spreadsheet has formulas in numerous cells which pull in data from the other spreadsheet. I have now upgraded to Excel 2007 and saved the files as xlsx. The formulas pulling in data from one spreadsheet to the other don't always work. Settng to Auto Calc doesn't work. Any idea why or how to fix?
maybe something got mixed up in the conversion? (how, i have noooo clue, just hazzarding a guess)
have you tried to re-copy the formulae down again, or to re-create them and then re-copy?

Thanks - if I am in the cell of a formula that isn't working and I hit PF2 and enter, then it works. Or, if I re-create the formula, then it works. However, the following month, I take both corrected files and re-save them with the name of the current month in order to update data for that month. Then, again, I have the problem where the formulas may or may not work. It is hard to find the ones that aren't working since the file is so large. It isn't consistent either. Strange!
