    Losing Formulae

I have a worksheet (or it seems, parts of a worksheet) where I cannot keep a formula.
When I enter a formula the result pops up as usual, but when I fill down the result fills down not the formula. I have clicked on the show formulae tag and that shows that the formula has gone.
In other parts of the sheet the formulae remain.
The sheet contains a pivot table and there is some code behind it but nothing refering to the affected cells.
    What have I done!

    How are you 'filling down'?

    Re: Losing Formulae

    Richard,
I filled down by using the bottom RH "blob" on the cell, and dragging.

I think I am beginning to understand what is going on. The affected cells are being used as data for Textboxes on a UserForm.
It seems as though this data is feeding back to the cells and thus overriding the formulae with the result.

The Text boxes are being loaded using code like.

This is a new phenomenon to me. I am sure I have used this technique before without problems
In the property pane of each Textbox the Value and Text properties are the number not the cell reference. (I have not directly modified the property values)
I hope this will help you to help me !

    Re: Losing Formulae

sounds like you linked the textboxes to the cells using controlsource.

As described I can't replicate that behaviour. Are you also using the control source property perhaps?

Any chance you could upload your workbook?

You have hit the nail on the head. I was coming back to let Richard know that I had forgotten that I had set the control sources in the property pane.
Thankyou both for your help though.
