Prorata Calculations

Dear Sir,
Anybody can help me for the following problem
Consider 2 work sheets containing
One sheet Budgeted figures from April to March
Another sheet Actual figures for the same months and one column extra for showing budgeted figure (on Prorata basis)
suppose if I enter the actual figure for April the budgeted figure up to april
If I enter the may actual figure then in the same budgeted cell it should sum the april and may budgeted figures of 1st sheet and should display.
Like wise if i enter the December actual figure the Prorate budgeted cell should calculate the sum of April to Dec. budgeted figures of 1st sheet and display the figure.

it would be better if you attached the actual worksheet, rather than a picture. that way, assistance can be offered based on the cotext of your needs
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

On "Actuals":

O7: =SUMIF(C7:N7,">0",Budgeted!C9:N9)
P7: =SUMIF(C7:N7,">0",C7:N7)
Q7: =P7-O7

You may have to change , to ; depending on your delimiters.

Is that what you need?

Re: Prorata Calculations

Yes Sir,
Thank you very much for clearing my problem. So nice of you.
could you please look into one more problem of mine?
the problem is as follows:
If I enter a number into a cell it should automatically divide with some pre determined value and answer should come in the same cell
Example:
If I enter 9,56,890 into a cell, the cell should display as 9.57 means the value of the cell should be divided with pre determined value of 100000.

Please help me in this regard.
Regards
Murali Krishna R
