Excel 2007 : how to make a timeline scedule?!

hi,
im trying to make a sheet that can take an expected time and add x time as expected to complete task where then actual time completed can be entered. if that makes any sense...but then if over expected certain time it will change color if possible? im trying to keep track of tasks completed on schedule. it would be very helpful if anyone knew how to do this!timeline.xlsx
