Need Conditional Text Display and Selection

I am a newbie to excel.
I have a file with postal codes for a particular town along with the dates when my team will be there.
I want to make a new sheet and then on the second sheet if someone starts typing a postal code, then dynamically it searches for the item containing the text types and also displays the corresponding dates. I think this can be done through drop down lists.

Would be really thankful if someone can do this for me.
