Removing duplicates from two different lists

I have two databases of clients first and last names, List 1 are the clients I want to send emails to and List 2 are the clients I have sent emails to. However, List 1 still contains some clients that have already received emails. I don't know any method of cross referencing list 1 and list 2 to exclude any clients that have already received emails from list 1.

    Any help would be appreciated

    1) on List2 in C2 put this formula, then copy down:

    =A2 & "," & B2

    2) Copy the column of data, then do an Paste Special > Values to remove the formulas and leave the key.

    3) On List1 in C1 put the word "Key".

    4) On List1 in C2 put this formula, then copy down:

    =ISNUMBER(MATCH(A2&","&B2, 'List 2'!C:C, 0))

    5) Turn on the Filter > Table, then filter column C for "TRUE" and you're looking at the names that are on List2. Delete these rows if you wish.
