autocopy into another worksheet and autocount features

Here goes - took a class in EXCEL last week and even the instructor said this was well beyond his knowledge. Developing a worksheet for an award program and need to identify when "name" is repeated 5, 10, 25, 50 times. Of course, the base dbase has much more info in it related to event, so I would like to have each "name" copy into another worksheet automatically and hopefully identify and count each time the same "name" is entered. We have THOUSANDS of employees but probably only 1/4 of that will really be active with this program to receive reward. Our org does not allow us to share data or templates we have mocked up for examples as it is confidential info. I have tried various "IF/AND/ETC" formulas, conditional formatting, and also tried playing with pivot table but not really familiar with that so no luck - for now using basic copy/sorting but know there has GOT to be a quicker way!

your organizations policies aside, you will HAVE to create a sample scenario show source data and then a manually mocked up presentation of your desired results based on that data. With that, we can certainly assist.

    Without it, how would we?

Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a copy of your workbook.

your answer is BS! if you are truly an EXPERT you would understand what I am saying and be able to create a basic worksheet from the details. I do not have time to work on the REAL worksheet, much less a mock up. If YOU had to create a reward program from list of names and that was ALL you were told, what would you create?!

Something you wouldn't understand and wouldn't be able to "adapt" to your secret workbook.

I was here and willing to help. Good luck, I do hope you get it figured out, I really do.
