    Sorting Formulas

Is there a way to sort using underlying formulas instead of the computed results? I have a a spreadsheet with 16 million formulas and I would like to modify the ones that begin with "=IF(".

    Re: Sorting Formulas

    Hi wcdunn,

    Welcome to the forum.

Select the formulas and replace (ctrl + H) = with <blank> i.e., nothing and you will get the formula with "is equal to" sign and then you can sort them easily.

How to select he formulas only:-

    Select the range / column, press F5, Alt + S, F, Enter

    Thanks DILIPandey,

That worked great! I decided to replace = with ~ rather than a blank so I can reverse the replacement later.
